CEDIMA BW-400 Towed Drilling Rig

A petrol-powered drilling rig in the form of a trailer towed by a lorry.
The machine has undergone a complete overhaul and has been refurbished by an authorised service centre
of Cedima Polska.
A new hydraulic drilling motor has been fitted.

1. A trailer-mounted drilling rig complying with the requirements of the Highway Code.
2. Single-axle chassis with overrun brake and tow hook. 12 V road lighting powered by the towing vehicle. Spare wheel and warning triangle.
3. Reinforced chassis structure to increase mechanical strength.
4. Drilling rig drive: HATZ 2G40 diesel engine with electric starter and key
5. Drilling rig drive power: 15.4 kW. Fuel tank capacity: 8.5 litres
6. Hydraulic oil tank with a capacity of 45 litres. Twin hydraulic pump. Manual emergency hydraulic pump.
7. Hydraulic drive for rotation and feed of the drill bits, infinitely variable.
8. Hydraulic lowering and raising of the drill bits and the drill rig platform table on guide columns. Clamps for locking and securing the table position.
9. Drilling depth gauge. Device for centring the drill bit during drilling.
10. Drilling rotational speed within the range of 0–800 rpm with stepless speed control.
11. 1 1/4” core bit chuck.
12. Capable of coring samples from bituminous and concrete surfaces with a diameter of up to 400 mm
13. Maximum drilling depth: 600 mm.
14. A 300-litre circulating water tank with a level indicator, made of stainless steel and fitted with a pump to supply water to the drill bit during drilling.
15. A ball valve for draining water from the tank.
16. Machine weight without water: 920 kg. Maximum permissible gross weight: 1,500 kg.
17. Base plate tiltable at an angle of at least 5° horizontally along the longitudinal axis and fitted with a drill head centring unit.
18. Safety lock.
19. Storage rack for accessories.
20. Instruction manual in Polish, English and German.
