The DHB-120 is a 120 t/h continuous drum mix asphalt plant designed for efficient and stable asphalt production for highway construction, road construction, road maintenance and infrastructure projects.

The DHB series adopts a continuous drum mixing process, in which aggregates are continuously dried, heated and mixed with bitumen in the drum. Compared with batch-type asphalt plants, the continuous process is particularly suitable for projects requiring a large and continuous supply of asphalt mixture.

Working Principle

- Cold aggregates with different particle sizes are loaded into the corresponding cold aggregate bins.

- The aggregates are continuously fed into the drying and heating drum. Inside the drum, moisture is removed and the aggregates are heated to the required temperature.

- Bitumen is supplied continuously through the bitumen storage, heating, pumping and circulation system. The heated aggregates and bitumen are continuously mixed inside the drum to produce a uniform asphalt mixture.

- The finished asphalt mixture is continuously discharged from the plant and loaded onto transport trucks.
